TETHER (WIP)

Tether (WIP) is a work-in-progress sharing of a powerful new collaboration between South Korea’s Theatre SAN and Scotland’s Wonder Fools. Part ceilidh, part storytelling and a good night out.

Spanning sixty years and three generations, the play weaves together Scottish and Korean dancing folk songs, love letters and war stories, tracing the invisible threads that bind two nations together. Blending live music, movement, and multilingual storytelling, Tether combines Scottish folk music and Arirang into an unforgettable theatrical event.

Created by Yoon Junghwan, Robbie Gordon and Jack Nurse, this international production is a celebration of resilience, shared culture, and the deep human longing for connection.
