Scrooge

SJM Performance Academy take to the stage this year with their class acting productions of Scrooge.

Set in the snowy streets of Edinburgh, this playful Scottish twist on Charles Dickens’ classic follows the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge, the meanest man in Auld Reekie. He hates Christmas, despises carol singers, and thinks spending money on anyone but himself is pure nonsense! But when three mysterious spirits appear one frosty winter’s night, he’s taken on a whirlwind journey through Edinburgh’s past, present, and future. From the Royal Mile to the closes of the Old Town, Scroggie discovers the true meaning of kindness, community, and Christmas cheer. Packed with heart, festive cheer, and heartwarming moments, this magical family adventure is perfect for all. Will Scrooge change his ways before it’s too late? There’s only one way to find out…
