Trajectories Anatomy Showcase
Join us to celebrate a day of brand-new performances by some of Scotland’s most exciting early-career theatre-makers.
Anatomy Lecture Theatre will host performances by Amy Brennan-Clark and Cormac Myles. This double bill has performances at 15:00 and 16:45, with a running time of 75 mins.
GOOD NIGHT, ROS? by Amy Brennan-Clark
Hollywood’s newest ingénue, Ros, has three weans, two pound tae last the week and a husband across the road drinking aw the wages! Pulled between two worlds, Ros must decide which reality she wishes to be a part of, as the lines between Glesga and Tinsel Town begin to blur. This absurd and fantastical take on escapism draws parallels between the lives of working-class women in the 70s and the harsh realities behind the glitz and glamour of Hollywood stardom.
Bury the Soft Things by Cormac Myles
When a homophobic attack rattles a small town, a young boy chooses exile as his own future. Finding refuge atop a hill overlooking his town, he begins to discover who, and what, might be responsible, questioning if he will ever be strong enough to fight back. What begins as a story of survival transforms into a deep search through memory and belonging, revealing secrets closer to him than he could ever have imagined.
We encourage those with the time and means to attend all performances. An automatic discount will be applied at the checkout if you book to see both the TechCube and Anatomy performances.
